We propose four routes by car, although there are, of course, many more possibilities:
Maragatería. Casa Kika is located in the heart of the Maragatería. From here you can visit its incredible villages: Quintanilla de Somoza, Santiago Millas, Castrillo de los Polvazares, Santa Colomba de Somoza, Lagunas de Somoza, Val de San Lorenzo, Turienzo, etc.
The Camino de Santiago (St. James' Pilgrimage Route). This historical route crosses our region from Astorga to Manjarín. Villages such as Rabanal, Castrillo, el Ganso and Foncebadón conserve beautiful churches along the Jacobean route. Astorga is well worth a visit in its own right. Más

Compludo Forge and Peñalba de Santiago. Compludo Forge is an ancient 7th Century hydraulic smithy, the only one of its kind. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Peñalba conserves centenary architecture and its Mozarabic church is unique
Las Médulas. The remains of a mine working described by Pliny the Elder, the Médulas has recently been declared a World Heritage Site.
